Zoos
I am currently a member of the Kansas city zoo and would recommend this to everyone for some inexpensive fun all year! Not only do I get into the Kansas city zoo free all year(or a zoo near you), but I can go to over 120 other zoos for free or 1/2 price! If you like animals, but just can't seem to get the picture you want please visit my other web site @ www.RHughesPhotos.com
Below are the zoos I have been to since 2005, if you click on the name it will take you to their site.
Brevard zoo Florida- great zoo lots of outdoor exhibits for the nice fl weather!
Gatorland Florida- Yes they have gators everywhere, but they also have lots of other animals and great shows!
Blank Park Zoo Des Moines, IA - This zoo has a great indoor building, as well as Penquins, Snow Monkeys, Otters and too many other to mention. Well worth the trip!
Emporia zoo  Kansas- this is a very small zoo, but the animals are well cared for and there are flowers everywhere. My favorite is the Cougar.
Hutchinson zoo Kansas- If you like North American animals this is the zoo to go to. They even have Raccoons and Prairie dogs.
Kansas city zoo MO- I am not sure what I like best, Africa one of the best I have seen or Australia where you can walk with the Kangaroos! But they also have Otters and the Rain Forest opens this May! Plus a whole lot more, Great zoo!!!!
Dickerson park zoo Springfield,MO- This is a great place to get some exercise and see many wonderful animals, including manned wolf, giraffes, bongos and much more!
Saint Louis zoo MO- A great zoo to go in any weather, they have many inddor buildings so you can still enjoy the day even if it is cold or rainy! Some of my favorites are the anteater and the bush dogs.
Omaha zoo NE - Another great zoo to visit in any weather. They have a Jungle, Desert, nighttime all indoors plus more. This is one of my favorite zoos and I try to get there at least twice a year, well worth the trip!
Memphis zoo TN- There is a lot to see here, one of the most famous is the Giant Panda! I also really liked the cat and primate exhibits.
That is it for now,  I will be in Texas this July and hope to visit a few zoos than. If you have any ideas please feel free to E-mail me @  circlehcritters1@att.net
